ROCO 1:87 Scale Vehicle Conversion
An Armoured Personnel Carrier conversion based on the 1:87 scale model of the schwere Wehrmachtsschlepper (sWS) made by ROCO. For this simple conversion, armour plate has been glued to the sides and rear of the fighting compartment of the heavy military tractor. It’s an unlikely conversion, considering the large size and slow speed of the sWS tractor, but one which works well for wargamers who want to put their stocks of sWS tractors to good use.
ROCO never produced an 1:87 scale model of the Sd.Kfz. 251/1 Schützenpanzerwagen of the Wehrmacht. Converting the armoured sWS tractor to an APC is a cheap and simple solution for wargamers.
