Evaluation
Excellent choice of subject, Games Workshop‘s T‘au Fire Warriors are perfectly generic extraterrestrial soldiers for all kinds of futuristic wargames.
The T‘au Fire Warriors are very nice multi-pose figures which may be painted in a variety of attractive uniform colours ranging from beige red, blue grey, and white parade uniforms to more subdued combat uniform in many different shades of brown and green, even including multi-colour patterns.
The set offers an excellent variety of multi-pose parts which may be assembled to create standing, crouching, advancing, charging, and kneeling figures. There are enough heads, arms, and legs for 15 figures, but Games Workshop chose to limit the number of torsi to just twelve.
We decided not to use the cheesy round bases supplied with these miniatures, but mount the attractive T‘au Fire Warriors on much less conspicuous ferromagnetic steel bases compatible with our entire collection of futuristic warriors. The two gun drones, too, will be mounted on less toy-like flight stands.
