Shabrack
Shabrack (shabraque, from Turkish tschâprâk), usually a trimmed or otherwise decorated saddle cover of cloth, fur, velvet, to protect against moisture and dust. Occasionally, a blanket placed under the saddle for parades is also called a shabrack. The former is primarily used with the flexible tree saddle, the latter with the English saddle.
