Tamiya Lacquer Paint LP-04 »Flat White«, compared to Tamiya XF-2 »Flat White« and Revell 361.05 »Creme White«.

The Tamiya Lacquer Paint LP-04 »Flat White« (4519 4351) in our inventory is noticeably thinner and less pigmented than Tamiya Lacquer Paint LP-55 »Dark Yellow 2« or Tamiya XF-2 »Flat White«. This has the unfortunate consequence that tried and tested paint mixing recipes suddenly don‘t work anymore, because 23 % of LP-04 »Flat White« results in much less tinting than 23 % of XF-2 »Flat White«. There are two remedies: adjust every single recipe, or use a different white lacquer paint with the same consistence as the other paints in the mixture.
